Sorry everyone but this email needs to be quick quick quick! This week our P-day is on Wednesday, but Wednesday is also a public holiday, so the libraries will be closed. So they told us to email for one hour or less today, and p-day will end at 5 PM tomorrow instead of 6. On top of this, today we're packed with appointments.

That's because last week was JOLT WEEK! Everyday we woke up at 6 instead of 6:30, started studies as soon as we could after 7, took < 30 min lunch breaks, and worked worked worked. It was very successful. I think the biggest success of the week was the amount of new people we taught -- 10 or more first lessons! We've never done that before. The purpose of jolt week is to refill our teaching pool and it's filling it almost faster than we can handle, haha. We just barely missed our goal last week of 20 lessons (as in nonmember lessons) but I think we are on track to hit it this week.

There were plenty of miracles last week, especially in finding -- finding is where most of the miracles you experience as a missionary are.

We set 2 baptismal dates, both for the 31st! One was with our investigator who is quitting smoking, the other is with a Chinese student at QUT who was referred to us by the Sunnybank missionaries. Today we will set one more for sure with our investigator from Peru.

Yesterday we had a mission tour where we were trained by our Mission President and the First counselor in the Area Presidency. Later we went to an FHE at our Mission President's home (He wasn't there--it was organized by members from Chermside Ward, the ward they live in) with our investigator from Peru. He told us he wants to be baptized, so that's why we know we will be setting a date with him today. He was in the hospital last week because he crashed on his bicycle and broke his left pinky and required surgery, but now he is just in a cast.

My trainee is training me, haha. He continues to consistently find better than myself, and sometimes myself and my companion combined! He's going to be an awesome missionary.
