We had some pretty cool miracles this week too! Right after P-day we contacted a referral given to us by the sister missionaries. She invited us in immediately. She told us that when she talked to the sister missionaries, it made her really happy and excited, and she had been waiting for us to come by like the sisters said we would. The next day, while on trade-offs (I stayed in the area this time) my companion and I had two miracles. In the morning, the very first person we talked to at the door opened up to us and allowed us inside. She had gone through a lot this past year, and she has actually been thinking about religion and God more and more recently. We taught her the plan of salvation.

Later the same day, our appointment fell through so we started tracting until our next appointment in the area. We knocked on the door of a young woman (about 20?) who to our surprise said she was an inactive member! Her whole family stopped going to church when she was young. However, one of her goals for 2013 was to come back to church again. She told us that it must be a sign from God, that we appeared on her doorstep before the end of the year.

I also spent Thursday on trade-offs, this time out of the area. It was a long day of chasing people down on the street :D Just like the good old days in River Terrace.

On Friday we had a ward Christmas party which we missionaries we invited to come to as Greeters. the theme was bush-dancing (like American country music and line dancing). We left before the band started playing :P We also had a few hours of service for the referral we contacted after P-day, helping clean up the house a bit. Saturday was a pretty normal day, as well as Sunday. My companion and the other companionship in the ward (we live together) have started practicing Christmas carols and have started singing them for a few people. All three of them a great singers so I just have to kind of follow along, it doesn't sound too bad :) We are still working on a few more songs and then we will try to go caroling in both our areas the week before Christmas. That's about it for the week. I hope everyone has a good one!
